Experimentální činnosti ve výuce chemie v České republice a v zahraničí
VĚŽENSKÝ, Jan
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to map the current state of use of experimental activities in the teaching of chemistry in the Czech Republic and abroad on the basis of authentic communications from graduates of primary and secondary schools. The work consists of theoretical part and practical part, which are arranged in chapters in chronological order in such a way as to ensure the continuity of the thought content of the issues addressed. The first chapter explains the teaching of chemistry in the Czech Republic both in the times past and in the present. Additionally, the educational systems in selected countries of the world are examined and described, as well as the approach to teaching chemistry in these countries. At the end of the theoretical part, various types of experiments are characterized, through which the author points to the current trend in education, in which there can be seen a shift to research-oriented teaching. In the practical part, the author performed an analysis of authentic statements of graduates of primary and secondary schools concerning the course of teaching chemistry and the use of experimental activities. Based on them, he identified similarities and differences in the use of experimental activities and in the approach to teaching chemistry in general. An obvious difference was found in methodology of chemical experiments, with the approach being the same between the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany, but different from France and India. The conclusion cannot be generalized due to the small sample of respondents. However, the analysis suggested possible differences in the concept of teaching chemistry and experimental activities, which may have an impact on students' attitudes and success. This also opens up space for further research using quantitative methods of pedagogical research.
Philosophical Essence of Questioning
Mejšner, Štěpán ; Fajfr, Marek (advisor) ; Blažková, Miloslava (referee)
This diploma thesis aims to examine the philosophical essence of questioning. My task was to present a cross-section of philosophical thoughts and to separate their essence of questioning and to present their structure. Compare these structures with other studied philosophers and find their similarities or, conversely, the exact opposite. The problem that some philosophers are dealing with and some will omit altogether is the language itself. Language is also a partial answer to the nature of the questioning as such.
Thinking in Hannah Arendt's conception
Škardová, Michaela ; Zicha, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Rybák, David (referee)
The thesis is an essayistic exploration of Hannah Arendt's thinking, with the central aim of naming the specifics of this thinker's thought, her sources of inspiration and her conception of thinking itself. The thesis attempts to clarify in what ways Arendt's way of thinking may inspire. The starting point of the thesis is her conception of the vita activa and the vita contemplativa, where the distinction between these two lives serves as a starting point for exploring the soil of the spirit. In relation to spiritual activities, the main purpose of the thesis is then to clarify the uniqueness of inquiry in Hannah Arendt's conception and to highlight the inherent nature of thought. The thesis outlines why it is important to inquire after thought itself and suggests the grounds for why Hannah Arendt acts like that. The thesis seeks to show how we are in the world through thinking and how practical reason is the defining factor in today's society. The thesis culminates in the importance of questioning in the process of education. KEYWORDS Hannah Arendt, thinking, vita activa, vita contemplativa, action, speech, practical thinking, meaning, conscience, questioning

The author of the thesis puts forvard three crucial questions as set in the introduction: What is the 'soul care' and what does it include? What would be the possibilities of getting back to this concept in the current times and would this be possible indeed? What role performs the school within the concept of 'soulcare' and what is the teacher's role? The thesis is divided in three parts denoting the comprehension of the concept of the soul in the Ancient times, in the New Age, within Patočka's concept of history and life movements and questioning, dialogue and discovering the sole origin as properties which are vitally important for the soul movement. The 'soul care' is also closely connected with the phenomenon of freedom as the freedom towards something which helps to found us and to form us.
